Hemendik Web

Lehen hala, orain hola.

Hemendik is an independent platform exploring the territory and culture of the Basque Country. Born as a book, it is now an online magazine connecting creative culture with Basque industry and society. The design challenge was to bring the reading experience of the book into the digital space without losing its character. The interface is reduced to the essentials so the content takes center stage: long-form articles and features, set for comfortable on-screen reading. Typography is the backbone of the identity: a design that blends Basque lettering with Art Deco aesthetics, giving the project character and a sense of place. The result is a website where the friction between print and digital disappears.
